SQL error: ODBC Driver Manager

Hello

I have installed PHP in my system and I have one database to be connected to IIS server and accessed through browser using PHP.

My system is of Windows 2000. While trying to access those php pages its accessing the static content but for accessing database, its giving the error message:

Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified, SQL state IM002 in SQLConnect in D:\prasanna\Inetpub\wwwroot\sasi.php on line 89
Couldn't connect to server.

What does it meant by? How to overcome this?

Can anybody help me in this?

It looks like you have to set up your service name. I know how to do this in win98 I assume that win2000 is simular.

Go to control panel and open the ODBC Data sources program at the top of the page it will say something like userdns, systemdns. You need to create the service name in the systemdns tag.
