My setcookie() variable was working fine until the recent upgrade of php to 4.2.1. I'm sure it's something tiny to fix. Any ideas? I would like to make the code change as apposed to the php config change.
Thanks!
If you had a cookie named "age" for example, you can't use $age to get the value of the cookie anymore, unless you turn register_globals on, but that's not recommended. So now, instead of using $age, you have to use $_COOKIE['age']

Now that is for "checking" the cookie, right? I am having trouble setting the cookie. It was complaining about headers being already sent. I put the cookie at the top of the page (before the html headers and so on) - still not setting cookies...
normally that's a symptom of having an accidental carriage return or space somewhere before your opening <?php bracket.
worth a look, but from your post it sounds like it worked before 4.2.1, so I doubt this will be helpful to you.
