Running a 'prof' function - server job!

Hi all,

I am running an auction and the responsibility is left to the seller & buyer to contact eachother. The specs req. an E-mail to be sent out informing both parties of result.

MY NEED is to be able to run an auto executable script off the server that will initate the E-mails....

Any ideas much appreciated!

if you have the auction ending at a specific time (like on eBay) you can setup a Cron job to execute a mail script at that specific time.
