Hi all,
I was just trying to setup an e-mail list on my website. Please bare with me, as I'm still somewhat of a newbie to php, sorry. Basically what I've run into is that my hosting company has php running in safe mode, so I can't set the time limit when sending the e-mails out. Does anyone know of an alternative method rather than set_time_limit, so that I can still have the mail sent in timed intervals?
I'd rather not use a workaround, if one exits, because I'm not that advanced in php and would not want to mess anything up. BTW, what would be the downfall of not doing this at all, in case I don't find a solution? I'm guessing I'll have under 200 subscribers, in case that helps at all and it's running off a mySQL database.
