Logins and missing pages?

Hey,

To avoid some testing I was just wondering if someone knew the direct cause of this problem.

It's a simple page (I built) with a login form. When I login it confirms my identity on the same page. Then I try to reload the page, or click a link and then go back - and IE says "this page is no longer up to date" or something similar. Happens everytime...

Is this cause it remembers trying to login? Any ideas how to avoid this?

It's because IE (and other browsers) know that the page you are trying to view was the results of submitting a form (your login page) and they are telling you that they don't want to submit the same form again.

To get by this, validate the login, then use <b>header("Location: XXXXX")</b> to send the user to the next page. This way, when the use the back button, the browser will remember that they were redirected to another page and will not worry about the form.
