SETTING exif data

Any ideas how to to set the exif data in a JPEG?

Actually, my "real" goal is to serve that info on the fly with my images; I'm already sending the imagedata out from a database so if I can just add some exif info before it goes out, that'd be perfect.

Barring that, I guess I could tear up the EXIF standard doc and try to add it myself. Ugh.
