i need help about an inclusion problem. for example i have a file index.php and menu.php is included in this file. and menu.php includes folders_close.php. the folders_close.php contains only a link so that when the user clicks on the link the folders_open.php is loaded (included) to the area where folders_close is included. it contains the names of the folders, for instance. just like the folders optiomn in yahoo mail. but since i will do this for approximately twenty different folders_close.php-like file i need a script. i cannot write every configuration for any of the folders_close.php clicked or not.

Why are using an include for this operation? Why don't you slap together a database table for such a task. Building an Open_Folder / Close_Folder routine is simple. You are making it way too complicated. All you need to do is list your folders in a table with a second field for Open or Closed. Then when the user clicks to open a folder, it will modify the Open/Close field's value. You can then display the folders however you want.
