Authorize.net & CURL

Hi

Has anybody experienced any problems lately trying to connect to Authorize.net using CURL? My scripts used to work fine but now curl connection doesn't terminate and the page just times out. I was just wondering if anybody knows a workaround - is there an alternative to curl for creating a secure connection from PHP?

this is a recent change required by authorizenet. some clients need to set up refer url now before 5/28. i am not sure if
that is in your case
