Link that can auto-email a record??

Hi, I'd like to have a link for each record shown on a page to be able to shoot me an e-mail with the record ID of some sort.

A good example is like if I have a page of user comments to an annoucement and at the end of each announcement there's a link that says "Report this comment". A user clicks it and it refreshes to a new page that says "The admin has been informed of this comment". I don't want a form or anything that a user has to fill out. I just want them to be able to click a link and that's all they have to do.

I'd imagine the link would be something like "a href="report.php?comment=<? $comment_id ?>" And then report.php would grab that id and shoot an e-mail to me. Would that be the way to go or is there something quicker?

That way sounds just fine. There may be a different way but I don't see where there would be any advantage to doing it any other way. And this is the way I would do it.
