history cache problem

Hi Folks,

I am experiencing a problem with using the browser back button on my application. I have a form the is used to validate a password, if the password has been successfull a link will be displayed, the problem is when the uses uses the link and then tries to use the browser back button (back to the form page), all I get is a blank page with a small object icon on it.
Any ideas ???

I have wrote application like this in other languages (coldfusion and asp) and have not experienced this before, so I think it may be a PHP problem.

I rewrote a cut down version to post here, but it seems to work fine ?? there must be something else in my app thats causing this to happen. have you every had this error?

the browser tries to open mshtml.dll/repost.htm ?? it looks like my code must have header information telling the browser not to cache information causing the form details to be lost.
