Best template-engine?

On devshed.com an article about the pat-template engine appeared. didn't know about that one but it seems interesting. I have been using FastTemplate for a while, but didn't succeed in getting the dynamic block to work.

Now, before I get into a new sort of template engine (I know about SMART, FastTemplate, and know pat), I would like to know if anybody knows the "best" template engine ?

I encourage you to try out DexGUILib. I think its the greates lib for html and php separation out there. I've used it on all my latest web projects.
