Can anyone suggest what could be wrong with this line
if (ereg("{([A-Z0-9_]+)}",$template))

an invalid content message appears when I go to the url below.
http://www.andoverpool.co.uk/index.php

I don't have much of an idea, this is all new to me.

Just a guess, but try excaping or getting rid of the {}, those characters have special meaning in regular expressions.
