n00b Q with _'s

I was looking through some code (postnuke stuff) and I saw something like:

echo "<center>".HOMEPROBLEM." [ <a href=\"admin.php?op=modules\">".ADDAHOME."</a> ]</center>";

What exactly is HOMEPROBLEM and ADDAHOME ($foo is a variable, &bar is a ref, etc) and where is it in the docs (or at least what is it and I'll find it in the docs)?

They are just delared variables

ie DOWNLOADS TOPIC and so on, they are also used in PHP-Nuke but that is ver heavy on servers.

so stay with postnuke!

You can do an f(sock_lib~append) loop with a c++ parse interim variable; for example

...your code...
...your code...
/f+ sock_~limit {loop ++
; par{
}
~+
}
...your code... etc.

(assuming the variable strafes the append limit)

ok upon looking at PHP-Nuke a little more _HOMEPROBLEM appears when you do not have the homepage module set.

the _ADDAHOME just takes you to the Homepage Config Screen in PHP-Nukes Admin section.

Only the Admin's can do this, regular visitors, just get a message like "There is not homepage set." - which goes where the _HOMEPROBLEM variable sits.

Hmm sort of. But I guess I'm not really clear what "_" does (not with nuke specifically) or is suppose to say. A simple example might help clear it up like:

$foo = "Hello World";

^ That sets a variable called foo with the string "Hello World"

So in the code how would one set _foo ? Just

_foo = "whatever"; ?

I guess what I'm also a little unclear on is if they are just variables, why aren't they $HOMEPROBLEM ?
