Change Table Field Sizes

Hi,

I would like to know how I can change my Table sizes (width) in my PHP scripts. Below is a sample of what I have.

<td width=30% bgcolor=#66cccc><p style="word-spacing: 0; line-height: 100%; margin-top: 3; margin-bottom: 3; margin-left: 5" align=center><font face=arial color=#yellow>Date</td>

Now I changed the 30% from 15% and I see no difference at all.
