How many weeks between two dates

Hi there,

How can I count the number of weeks between 2 dates? Let's say the first date is Jun-10-2002 and the second is Jun-24-2002. We know that are 2 weeks, but how can I program to count it?

maybe something like this??

$weeks=($days / 7);

14=(June-24-2002 - June-10-2002);
2=(14 / 7);

there might be a better way, but this is the only way i can think of.

Use the strtotime function and convert all of your dates into unix timestamps. We know that a week is 604800 seconds, so once you have converted the start and end time to a unix timestamp, subtract the two and see if it is greater than or less than 604800.
