how to capture an IP address

How do I get the IP address of the visitor to my web page?

$ipaddress = getenv(REMOTE_ADDR);
print $ipaddress;

$browser = getenv(HTTP_USER_AGENT);
print $browser;

$referer = getenv(HTTP_REFERER);
print $referrer

...and, a "fun" one:

$specific_ip_address = gethostbyaddr($REMOTE_ADDR );
print $specific_ip_address;

This doesn't work now in my computer.

$ipaddress = getenv(REMOTE_ADDR);

I have Apache 2.x, PHP 4.2.1 as ISAPI module, Win98, Explorer 6.0.

This is weird because i installed Apache because PWS, with PHP 4.1.2 as a CGI stop working, but previously all was working fine. Any ideas?
