Can someone provide me thw above withrespect to designing web-pages. For example, I see webpages with BGCOLOR as "009966". Now if I want grey, how in the world will I know its code.
Also tips on tricks on designing sites should be helpful. Like putting up news posts on the rigt column which could draw the info from a database. I can hadnle the server scripting-jdbc fairly well. But when it comes to deigning, placing stuff around the place, I have problems.
My server is Rh7.2.

Also I need info on how to position stuff/ images, etc. etc ???
Also lets say I design a .html file whichI want to use as a template on other pages how do I do the "include".
Lets say I want to include top.html to come on the top of every page and side.html on the left. ?????

If you want to learn what those number mean in the BGCOLOR i sujest you learn HEX to DECIMAL conversions.
