copy()

Hi,

Can somebody please give me a working example of how to copy one file on a server to another directory?

I dont need any fancy uploading or anything, just a simple copy.

I cannot work it out, everything i do i get a permission denied error, and i'm quite sure I do have access to write to the folder.

I'm creating the folder with this, and it's being created fine:

mkdir ("$userfolder", 0700);

Please help ASAP..this is driving me insane!!

I don't think 700 is an enough permission.

If you work under Apache, the user is likely to be "nobody" and he has no permission.

Try a 755 permission.
