Arrays as session variables ??

Can arrays also be used as session variables?

Even tho I can load the array below with values on the page where this is declared, I can't get this to work across pages :

session_register('svMyVar[50]');

or :

session_register('svMyVar[]');

The values are not there on the next page. And yes, I have made sure session_register() is called on each page.

session_register('svMyVar');

just register a variable like session_register ("test_arr") and
assign values like test_arr[1]="test"
test_arr[2]="test2"

That worked. I just wonder why you don't need the [] when declaring this? Sort of goes against the "C" grain, if you get my point.

I also followed your discussion on checkboxes. That's how I got to this point. I have a form with a lot of them, and for some quirky reason, when I would submit the form, and then go back to it (via the browser button or using a little jscript history) the check boxes were all blank again. Don't know what's up with this:

"Warning: Page has Expired. The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

So I decided to just carry them around as session variables and not bother with this yet another IE mystery.
