Hi,
I need to put authentication to my web page in my Apache web server under Linux 6.2 OS. For that i have created a .htaccess file to my Directory and i have created password file also using htpasswd.
But my page is opened directly without prompting for username n password.Can anyone clarify me and suggest a solution where would be the problem.
