Cookies on a redirect

Help!
I have a website (siteone.com) that i need to run cookies on. the problem: siteone.com is actually redirecting to sitetwo.com/folder1/folder2/userfolder/index.php and the cookie won't set if domain is siteone.com

how do i need to set the path and domain settings of the cookies to make it set?

There is an option to set the path, but I'm not sure if it will work for what you are trying to do.
In fact, it may be impossible to do because of security reasons.
