Hello everyone I have posted this PHP and Mail() question about 3 times and still have no answer that works. Here is every little detail of the problem I'm having.
I am using an Xitami Server running PHP, MySQL, ActivePerl and MDeamon Mail Server. I'm running all of this on a Windows ME system.
Here is my PHP.ini file for mail:
[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = localhost
; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = me@localhost.com
; For Unix only. You may supply arguments as well (default: "sendmail -t -i").
;sendmail_path =
Here is my script for sending mail:
$msg = "Hey this is $email Check this out... I sent this email because I like to use the following Diablo II website and thought you might also enjoy it. http://www.gerbilscentral.com They have all kinds of Diablo trades and merchandise just for you.";
$subject = "AB Diablo Tradeing Post $email";
mail("$to", "$subject", "$msg", "From: $email\r\n") or die("Couldn't send mail.");
My website is up and running at http://www.gerbilscentral.com if you scroll to the bottom of the page and look in left hand corner you will see the form to Tell a Friend. When you submit the error you get is Server Overload. I can't figure out what in the world is going on if someone else can figure this mess out I would deeply appreciate it.
