dynamic applications

Oke this is the deal.
Iam trying to build this neat webapp.
with a main menu, dynamic submenu and possible next pages per thread.
So i hacked up bb boards and what not.
But no dice all i can get are entries with possible subentries in a submenu listed and retrievable by id where parid = id etc.
To me an app needs per page a possible submenu and every page needs possible 'nextpages' incase it gets to long with a nice splitting function to generate the links at the bottem.
I cant seem to find a good tut or script with even those elements.
Where shall i seek?
or even more general:
where can i find a tut or example for building a nice and robust webapplication.
Any tips are verry welcom.

sorry to be so blunt, but how about looking further than your nose?

phpbuilder is full of articles on whatnot. php.net contains the php bible, webmonkey has anything and everyting to do with webpages, and there is always the local bookstore.

At least try and solve some of your problems before posting a question.

Are you expecting someone to sit down and write your webapp for you and post it back here?

This forum is one of the best places to seek information - replies to problems come thick and fast, but you have to try and solve the problem until you can solve it no more before asking.
