time out script and client side set up?

I have a big php page (hundreds results from database). When my client went to that page, his browser will only display half of the results, and then time out.

But when I test it, it shows the full results.

My question is that: the timeout is server attribute, it should be the same for my browser and his browser, right?

will the differnet browser or different browser set up have the different "time out" results on the same page?

time out is a server variable...are you connected to the server via a lan/wan? this would give you a faster data connection than the web server...especially on 56K. If the data is so many rows, what about breaking it up into more managable chunks for the user?

You can use

set_time_limit(900);

This will give 15 minutes before the script will time out.
