Filemaker import text or xml file

I have a difficult problem.

I have a FileMaker Pro 5.0 database with only textfields:
street,zipcode,place,description

On my website clients fill in a form meeting the database-textfields.

I receive this information by mail and I want to import the data in FM.

FM works with tab-delimited textfiles. That works, but sometimes the desription contains enters and tabs. Then, it doesn't work!

Does anyone know a sollution to import the data?

I thought it would work with an xml file, but FileMaker Pro doesn't seem to be able to import XML files.

Does anyone know how to import XMl files into FM?

Or maybe there are plugins or standard scripts to do this?

I found this sollution which would be great, but I cannot download the resulted file.

Also it is a Macperl script.

Is it possible to translate this to PHP and how could I do it? I mean: I cannot find the sourcecode of the script
