Display data from two tables

Hi, I have two tables, the first is called season_fixtures and the second is called season_reports. season_fixtures holds all the data on this seasons upcoming fixtures and season_reports is to store the match reports from the games already stored in season_fixtures.

season_fixtures contains the following fields:

$fixid
$opposition
$competition
$kickoff
$date
$venue

and season_report:

$reportid
$matchid
$efc_lineup
$opp_lineup
$report

Previously I have made a fixtures list using data from season_fixtures, but now comes the part I am having trouble with...

I'd like to show only the games which have a match report written.

season_report's matchid should be the same number (tinyint) as season_fixture's fixid for it to be from that game. This is where I get confused..

I cant think of a query to collect the data..

You can try this query to select only the games that have a report.

SELECT * FROM season_fixtures,season_report WHERE $fixid=$matchid
