when php runs scripts as nobody ...

hi
on my server php runs the scripts as nobody. so i am not allowed to create direcotries. unless i change the rights structure.

i need that only for the administration part of a tool im writing, so it would be fine if i could execute JUST THAT ONE script as the user i am, and not nobody. is there a way to switsch user?

Easy solution is to edit your httpd.conf and create a virtualhost that runs as your user or edit the exist user and group and change it from nobody to the user and group apache

I guess you need to own the server for that? i don't own the server, i just have my files on it so i don't think that i can simply access those settings ...
