Option value

when i try to update the option field in my form, i am not able to see the selected value but it is updated into my db.why is it so??

I have an option field(ClassA, Class😎.The default is ClassA.I have set option value = 0 for ClassA and 1 for ClassB.

when i chage this to ClassB and hit the button to update it, the value 1 is passed into my db but it still shows ClassA rather than ClassB.

could somebody help me out regarding this.

It sounds like after the POST you are not updating which option is SELECTED when the page is redisplayed.

it shows the defaulut value, that is ClassA.
the update statement is correct because, the value 1 is being passed to the db, but it is not displaying after being updated.i dont know why
