FTP possible?

Hello, I am running PHP on a server and created a script using the FTP functions. I then want to upload files using this script from other computers through the web browser that do not have PHP installed. Is this possible or do the files I am uploading have to be in the same directory as the PHP is? It keeps saying the file I am trying to ftp_put is not found but it is looking in my php directory on the server and not on the local directory I specified that contains the file. Any help would be appreciated.

I will point you to this:

Upload this to your directory exactly as shown here:
<?php
phpinfo()
?>
Save it as, "test.php"

Then, view "test.php" in your webbrowser, and you will find all the paths to all the relevent directories.

Then, make sure you have the permissions (chmod) set correctly!
