intermitant updating

Hello,
I am having problems with my update form. I personally havent had problems with it but my client says that it is only intermitantly updating the information i.e sometimes he has had to re-enter the information several times before the updating seems to take hold (after refreshing the page , it still has not shown the updating).

So can anyone tell me what might be causing this ???, there is only ever going to be one person at a time updating the mysql/php site so the problem does stem from that.
I am using mysql_connect does using pconnect make any difference? as i say i do not have these problems so i cant tell whether pconnect makes any difference.

Really appreciate any comments or suggestions on this subject.

It is impossible to tell what is wrong with out seeing code. Using pconnect shouldn't make difference.

Yes i had thought that but last time i posted about 50 lines of code no-one replied. Thanks for your help, I just thought that someone might also have come across this problem and they could tell me what it was that they found was wrong..and that way i can narrow it down. Cheers
