i've been having trouble deleting cookies. when i try to delete a cookie, it has no affect in IE6. I can't even overwrite a cookie, or change its values.
this does not seem to be an issue in opera, netscape, or mozilla. just IE6.
can anyone help me?
This may seem obvious, but have you checked IE's cookie settings? 🙂 Otherwise I don't know why it would work in other browsers, but not in IE.
yes, my cookies are enabled.
even if they weren't, why would i be able to set a cookie, but not delete it?
i've heard of other people having problems with this too.
When you're deleting the cookie, you have everything the same as when you set it - bar the time?
If that's not it; I think ie6 has different 'security' settings, been encountering these but haven't looked into it at length yet
