Login system database problems!

Hi!

I'm having some issues with a tutorial found here:

I'm really new to mysql, and i'm getting this error when I try to register.

ERROR -
Unknown database 'user'

If I go in and create the database through mysql admin, I get this error:

ERROR -
Table 'user.user' doesn't exist

Could somebody please help me understand what i'm doing wrong?

Any help woudl be appreciated, but please remember that im really, really new to all this so try to dumb it down a bit! (lol)..

first of all you arent even getting authorised to the mySQL server. that is the reason you get unknown user "user". because you dont have that user registered on your server.

if your mySQL server is running on same machine you are working on. then by default the settings are:
username = root
password = '' (null)

try those, and it will work.
