eregi with multilanguage

i have problem with eregi using cirilic symbols
the problem is that eregi not work correctly. works like ereg. Is there a place in my PHP installation or somewhere else where i can define upper and lower case codes?
In MySQL it is possible. Is in PHP possible too?

you could try using the convert_cyr_string() function. you'll find it in the php function list at www.php.net
