Not Updating

In php - Im making the following mysql call when a user logins in...

UPDATE users SET lastaccess=NOW() WHERE id='2' LIMIT 1

Trouble is, it dont actually update the lastaccess, which is a DATEIME feild. I also have another DATETIME feild in the same table.

Anyideas?

Well, I tried the same but it didnt work. But when I took the LIMIT 1 off, it worked...Strange...

Not strange at all ... LIMIT doesn't have any meaning in UPDATE queries.

In MySQL Version 3.23, you can use LIMIT # to ensure that only a given number of rows are changed.

Ah, that would explain it; I don't use MySQL and was going by the current SQL standard.
