IE6 and missing Sessions

I noticed that sometimes I can't capture variables stored in a session on the website. It is 100% of the time on IE 6 only. Just sometimes an IE6 user will have no session data. Even with the session id passed in the url. I am using $_COOKIE[PHPSESSID] for the variable passed in the url. Anyone have a suggestion about this? I'm stumped. I'm using php 4.2.1 on IIS 5. ISAPI version.

look in your MSIE browser properties (Tools->Internet Options->Privacy).

If "Block all Cookies" is set as Privacylevel you won't get it to work. So change this option (for testing to: accept all cookies), and try agian.

maybe it wasn't a coding problem, just a browser "mistake".
