PHP Troubleshooting

I seem to have lost my ability to get PHP to parse my code. When I first starting working with PHP, it parsed each page as it loaded it and reported errors to the output. Now if there is a problem, I get nothing. No displays from earlier in the code. No parse errors. Nothing. I have to go back through and comment out sections of code little by little to find out which piece has the error. It's kind of like playing the Higher/Lower game on the price is right.

Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

If you cannot turn on error reporting at the root server level, then upload a .htaccess file with all error reporting on. Don't even bother with the higher/lower game w/ php. time is too valuable for that.

Thanks for the tip. Is this something I need to pass on to my ISP provider?

I don't have control of the PHP server.

If I recall your post, you said that it DID have error reporting, and now you don't. I would email your webhost the problem. they can most definitely turn it back on to the default level.

In the meantime, while you're awaiting their response, you can "turn on" the reporting on your php page.
