How to store a few files (images)

Hello,
I have a question: is it possible to store a few files (e.g. images) in mySql in one opeation ??.

Now, if want to store files I have to store it one after one. When I want to store 30 files it takes me very long time to store them all. So I'm wondering if there is a solutions to store those 30 files simultaneously (in one operation).

I will be thankful for your help.

you just have to loop the INSERT statement.

sorry there is no multiple inserts, as far as i am aware of.

Of course the fastest solution would be to not store the files in the database at all, but in the filesystem instead; with just the (path and) filenames going into the database.
