Just a simple question about hyperlinks

now that i have my redirection script working, when I want to include variables in the link (more than one variable) do I use & or && inbetween them (like this):

helpdesk.php?position=$position&wage=$wage

or

helpdesk.php?position=$position&&wage=$wage

Does it matter?

How do I go about continuing lonnnnng lines to the next. I know its something like ." or something like that....here is a snippet of code I need to continue a line down with:

header ("location:http://www.bates.edu/~rkolbe/helpdesk.php?date=$today&&position=$position"); //Need to extend to next line because I have many more variables

one ampersand is all that is needed. if you have a lot of variables you might consider placing them in hidden fields in a form as there is a limit to how much can be passed through the URL (granted it is about 2000 characters, but still....)

As for you question about multiple lines, just keep on typing...just put all the details in the anchor tag <a href=...> and keep the actual link text short...
