simple code to show 6 images in a row

I want have page to show up to 6 photos in a loop, say, first photo stays for 10 seconds, and then second photo replace the first one and stays for 10 seconds ... and then 6th photo shows and then the first photo again.

the photos can be in the same folder of the php page.

any scripts anyone can suggest?

this uses javascript and you will need to download all the images to the client first.

Well, javascript is one option. Another option is to use the meta refresh.

I forgot the exact syntax but just search for "meta refesh tag" on the web and you find something.

You can keep refreshing the same PHP and passing in a counter value that increments. The PHP will print the image correspoding to the counter value.
