Font don't support GD Library in PHP

I install GD Library For PHP in Apache web server in Windows2000 os. Arial.TTF font also support in in GD Lirary while creating .PNG image. It is working well in Windows.

But

While i upload in Linux server. i give error message

"<b>Warning</b>: Could not find/open font in <b> on line <b>81</b><br>
<br>"

i also upload Arial.TTF file & i also make Arial.TTF for mac computer from Frontographer and upload it but
but don't work. why?

maybe you try helvetica, just to see if linux accepts ttf formats or not and to see if it is a matter of that font or if it is a different problem.
