many of you saw this feature of some web sites.
move your mouse on one item of the title bar, then a drop down menu will pop up, then move your mouse on one of the item in that drop down menu, another sub drop down menu will pop up, and so on.
my designer use some software to do that. but when i read the codes, it gets me concerned that the codes is almost not possible to be modified. so if i have to modify some pages, i have to use this software to do it like when my designer created it in the first place, and this software has certain rules such as no same name folders even they are not in the same parent folders etc.
plus, the pop up menu feature is designed for explorer and netscape differently, i don't know if AOL will follow the netscape way or AOL has its own way. If AOL has its own way, well, this feature will not work, because it is only programmed for netscape and internet explorer.
in simple words, when use this software to create the pop up drop down menu, it forces me to use that software and force me to follow its stupid rules. and it also make it less universal for browsers.
i really cannot see the reason to have this feature but give up so many other things just for this feature. can anybody comments on this issue? maybe your comments can help me persuade my designer not use the pop up drop down menu.
help please
