php-mysql-flash : passing images?

Hi,

after reading an article about te possibilities you create when combining php-mysql with flash (http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/hill20011214.php3) I almost immediatly came to the following problem: Is it possible tos get a picture in your .swf of which the filename is stored in the sql database? I'm makign sort of a profile manager of a building with a lot of people in it, and just by clicking on a room it should be possible giving some information, as well as a photograph, of people living in that room. Text, no problem, but a picture...

So short: I would like to know how (if possible) you can abstraclty import a picture in flash to have it filled in later, while viewing the movie.

Hmm... I did look for an answer first, but didn't find one. Still don't actuatlly, even not after a ctrl-F on "Van" 🙂. Dit you mean the "Export SWF to the image file in php" thread? 'Cause that isn't quite what I was asking (if I expressed myself right that is 🙂 )

Oh, sorry your post was hard to read.
Ya, you can import a picture into a swf using this function:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.swfbitmap.php

note the restrictions on .jpegs!
