Mulitple Includes

I am writing a site and was wondering if multiple (7+) includes would inhibit performance?

The includes are sort of modules of the site, which is why I wanted to keep them seperate, but if that many includes hurts performance, I'll combine them all in 1 file.

Well its a difficult one to answer.. Depending on what you can get away with, due to the power of the server..
Personally with all the web servers I've used I've never seen includes slow down a server (unless you do some sort of recursive include).
