Saving Dynamically generated Images

I have created dynamically generated images and i want to be able to save the file to the server ie, form to save that particular image to server.

I would like to know the logistics and methods of achieving this because i'm having hard time trying.

Okay, first of all, is the server generating these images or are you generating them on your computer?

If the PHP is generating these images using GD (or imagemagick), then collected the output of the image, open a new file, write this content to it, and save it wherever you like.

If you are generating these images on your computer and want to upload them, use a form to upload your images to the server and have the PHP copy this uploaded file to whatever directory you wish to save on the server.

Let me know where the dynamic images are and where you want to save them and I can help you with some examples.

If you use GD...

ImagePNG(ressource im[, string filename])
or
ImageJPEG(ressource im[, string filename])
or
ImageGIF(ressource im[, string filename]) (should not work !)
or
...

You've created an image which is contained in the variable $im, and to save it with the filename "myimage.png" (it's PNG image) in the directory "directory"...
imagePNG($im, "directory/myimage.png");

It's as simple as that !
