Can anyone tell me to to write some PHP that will always display the date of the next occurence of a particular day of the week?

I would like my page to always show the date of the next Wednesday. eg. "24th July 2002". When the 24th of July passes I would like it to then display "31st July 2002" and so on.

read up on getdate()

it returns a day of the week in text form.. i.e. monday tuesday wednesday....

if your page does a get date you can also do some calculations to find out what day it will be on next wednesday
