refreshing

When i refresh the page with my script, it asks if i wana resend the info, but i have a function that writes to a text database, so every time i refresh it rewrites to the db the same info.
Any help? thanks.

how does this refresh script look like ? is it really a script or are you refresing the page manually by using the browsers refresh option ?

yes, browsers refresh option. Its a form, a shoutbox, when Post is pushed the form refreshes the page and ads the ip to the database, now if i refresh again manualy, the message is posted again in the database, and so forth, i only want the message posted once
