hello again. I read the manual on sessions and now my scripts work almost like i want but one small problem. When i hit the link to come back to the products page from my "add to cart" form" i'm still in the same department of products (like i want), but, when i go to select another department, $dept1 (my variable for departments) is still the same, it doesn't change.
As far as i can tell by my pages, I haven't registered $dept1. how do I check if it is, and if its registered, how do i change the value of it?
in the title of the page it changed it, but for listing stuff, its the old value
