How can I output the time it took for a PHP page to be created? And, what does this time really mean, does it include the time it took to grab mySQL info as well, or just the execution of the PHP?

Theres some code in the code library.

At the start of the script, make a note of the time.
At the end of the script, make another note of the time.

The difference between the times is the total execution time as measured against the Gregorian calendar (not CPU time spent on that process, not just PHP time, but wall clock time) - less the amount of time it took to do the subtraction and print the result and anything following it.

When I did my time test (to find out how come my page took over 10 seconds to load), I was very surprised that the mySQL lookup only took 4/100ths of a second.... the rest was my own browser rendering the html :-)

Php/mysql is blazingly fast!!
