Looking for a good mysql reference..

I sometimes for get the rules of some mysql functions like the way to use MIN or JOIN and going to mysql's site for the answer left me more confused then before.

If nobody knows of a good reference then can somebody explain the use of JOIN to me?

Find the book 'MySQL' written by Paul DuBois, published by New Riders. An incredibly comprehensive, well-written book. Sorry, I have no ISBN number handy, the book is not with me right now. I've been through a bunch of books on MySQL; this one is the best.
