not allowing header info to be reposted

I have a problem.

When people push reload, the data from a previous post gets reloaded and then everything sucks.

My questions is this:

Can I disable reload?

Can I remove the header variables so that the info doesn't get reposted if the user pushes reload?

I used sessions once, and fiddled around with things, using what I learned from the url above. You can disable/enable alot of things.
